Samsung introduced Privacy Display with the Galaxy S26 Ultra earlier this year. Initial reports suggested the Galaxy S27 Pro would feature it, then later claims said all S27 series models except the S27 FE would include it. A new report from South Korean publication ET News now states only two smartphones in the Galaxy S27 series will have Privacy Display: the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra.

Samsung aims to differentiate these higher-end models from the base Galaxy S27 and S27+ to drive consumer demand. Both devices will also feature Color Filter-on-Encapsulation (COE) technology on their screens. The report indicates future Samsung laptops may adopt Privacy Display as the company explores expanding the technology to more products.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra with Privacy Display remains available, with pricing starting at €929 for the 256GB/12GB RAM variant.
