Reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has updated the battery specification for the upcoming i QOO 16, confirming an 8,400 mAh capacity instead of the previously rumored 8,500 mAh. Despite the slight reduction, this still represents a significant increase over the i QOO 15's 7,000 mAh cell. The device is expected to retain 100W wired charging speeds and add wireless charging support, though the wireless wattage remains unconfirmed; the predecessor supports 40W wireless.

Other rumored specifications include a 6.85-inch 165Hz flat 2K display, a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, and a 50MP primary camera utilizing an OmniVision OV50Q sensor. The handset is also tipped to feature IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, alongside a dedicated graphics chip.

A recent Geekbench listing suggests the i QOO 16 will debut with the unannounced Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 SoC, paired with 16GB RAM and running Android 17. An image shared by Digital Chat Station also hints at a redesigned camera module. The smartphone is anticipated to launch later this month.
