iQOO has announced the launch date and color options for its upcoming iQOO 16 smartphone. The device will debut in China on September 29 and go on sale the same day through iQOO's online store, where pre-orders are already live. The handset will feature three color variants: Chasing Light, Legend in silver gray, and Race Track in purple.

Recent leaks suggest the phone may include a 8,400mAh battery and the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Extreme chipset. The device is confirmed to use Samsung's new M16 display panel with a 165Hz refresh rate and 2K resolution. iQOO has yet to reveal full specifications beyond the display. The company is also expected to launch the Pad Ultra tablet alongside the iQOO 16 on September 29.
