We're taking a closer look at the Huawei Watch GT 7 Pro in Pine Green ahead of our full review. The unboxing experience features Huawei's proprietary magnetic charging puck wired to a USB-A cable, though we hoped for a detachable USB-C connector. The design is similar to the GT 6 Pro with subtle changes including a color-matched screen bezel and a new tuck-under strap approach that stays secure during daily use.

The chassis is made from titanium alloy with a nanocrystalline ceramic rear panel housing the sensors, maintaining Huawei's reputation for top-notch build quality. Like its predecessor, the Watch GT 7 Pro comes in a single 46mm size with a 1.47-inch AMOLED display featuring 3,000 nits peak brightness, delivering great outdoor legibility even at 50% brightness. This is a large watch at just over 55 grams and 11mm thick, which may not suit smaller wrists.

On the software side, Huawei's Harmony OS 6.1 continues the familiar interface. Battery life is claimed at up to 12 days of regular use or 21 days in low power mode, which we'll verify in our full review.
