If you want the largest image for the least amount of money, a projector is the only choice. TVs over 75 inches keep getting cheaper, but models like TCL's 115-inch QM7K QLED Mini LED 4K TV cost $13,998, while Hi Sense's 100-inch model is $1,750. Even 75-inch Mini LED TVs are around $800.

Projectors, however, can easily display images 120 inches or bigger. The Anker Nebula X1 triple-laser projector beams a 4K image up to 300 inches, and the Valerion Vision Master Pro 4K laser projector does the same. Mid-priced projectors costing about the same as a good 75-inch TV can beam images up to 200 inches.

Projectors offer better color fidelity, a discreet presence, and flexibility for indoor or outdoor use. While TVs are brighter and better in ambient light, their high-nit output can cause eyestrain and be too bright for darkened rooms. Projectors, bouncing light off a screen, avoid direct blue light issues and provide immersive large-scale viewing without the physical and financial burden of massive TVs.
