The Slate Truck, backed by Jeff Bezos, is marketed as the most affordable EV truck in America, starting at $24,950 for the base model called The Blank Slate. Its low price stems from a 'bring your own tech' approach, using drivers' smartphones or tablets as the central interface via a built-in mount and USB port, eliminating a traditional infotainment system. The vehicle offers three body styles: a two-seat pickup, an enclosed SUV, and a fastback, with an optional open-air kit adding removable roof panels and extra seating.

While the base model lacks built-in screens or speakers, it includes a 4-inch LCD backup camera display that activates in reverse to meet legal requirements. Optional tech add-ons include a tablet mount, speaker mounts, front center and side integrated speakers ($249.99 and $149.99), a steering wheel Bluetooth control button, and a $275 subscription-based Telematics Module for remote features like door unlocking and battery pre-conditioning. Prices for some accessories remain unannounced.

Fully loaded, the truck can reach $46,493, but even at that point, it remains the cheapest EV pickup on the market before fees.
