Samsung has expanded its Galaxy Book 6 lineup with a more affordable option, pricing starting at $799. This new model aims to compete with Windows laptops and serves as a more accessible alternative to the MacBook Neo. Unveiled at CES earlier this year, Samsung began selling the first three original models in the US back in March. The basic Book 6 released at that time cost at least $1,050. In June, the company expanded the lineup with a Snapdragon X2 Elite-powered model for $2,100.

The new Galaxy Book 6 is powered by an Intel Core 3 or Core 5 processor, depending on the configuration and market. Its final price depends on storage choices of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB, and RAM options of 8GB or 16GB. The laptop features a 14-inch 1,920 x 1,200-pixel screen with an anti-glare finish and up to 25 hours of battery life. It supports 45W fast charging and includes ports such as two USB Type-C, one USB Type-A, HDMI 1.4, and a 3.5mm jack. AI features include AI Select and Note Assist. As a Galaxy device, users can share files across other Galaxy devices and use a Galaxy Tab as a second display. The new model is available in Gray and Violet Silver in select markets.
