iRobot announced two new robot vacuums at IFA 2026 in Berlin, led by the $1,199 Roomba Max 875 Combo, marketed as the company's most powerful robot ever. Both the Max 875 and the $899 Plus 678 Combo feature the new Auto Wash Dock and iRobot's Seal Force Vacuuming Technology. This technology lowers a hidden skirt to form a tight seal against carpet fibers, delivering a suction force of 35,000 Pascals, the highest iRobot has achieved, designed to pull embedded dirt from carpets.

The Max 875 Combo further introduces Therma Mist Technology, spraying heated mist to soften dried stains while mopping. Its Power Spin Max Roller Mop scrubs at 300RPM with 18 Newtons of downward pressure. A key feature automatically detects carpet, raises the mop, and lowers a protective shield to keep rugs dry.

The more affordable Plus 678 Combo includes Spray Force AI pre-treatment, using high-pressure spray to break down dirt before mopping. Both models are available now on iRobot's website, with retail shipping beginning in two weeks across North America. Later this month, they will be available at stores nationwide.
