Google has revealed new features for Pixel devices this month. On Pixel 6 and newer, expanded widget options let you quickly text or call VIPs from the home screen. New notification badges show urgent or unread VIP messages at a glance.

Scam Detection expands in-app and in Messages across the US, UK, Australia, Canada, Singapore, India, Germany, Mexico, Japan, and France. In the US, it also alerts you in Gboard.

A Wear OS 7 update rolls out to Pixel Watch 5 with offline Gemini, more accurate GPS, and expanded one-handed gestures. Double pinch opens notification center, scrolls Gemini responses, navigates Wallet cards, and toggles Google Maps reviews. Turn your wrist to go back.

Finally, Pixel 6 and newer can use Harry Potter Audiobook Packs to customize wallpaper, icons, and sounds. Eligible users in the US, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, India, Japan, and Australia get two free months of Audible.
