Apple TV collected eight Primetime Emmy awards in 2026, beating HBO and Netflix. The streaming service won six awards for Widow's Bay and two for Pluribus, bringing its total to 28 Emmys for the year. HBO won five Primetime Emmys and Netflix took home three.

Widow's Bay earned Emmys for best comedy series, lead actor (Matthew Rhys), supporting actor and actress (Stephen Root and Kate O'Flynn), writing (Katie Dipold), and directing (Hiro Murai). Pluribus won for lead actress (Rhea Seehorn) and writing (Vince Gilligan).

HBO's The Pitt won drama series and lead actor (Noah Wyle), while Hacks won lead actress (Jean Smart). Netflix's Allison Janney won supporting actress for The Diplomat, and Sally Field won lead actress for Remarkably Bright Creatures. Matthew Rhys also won a second lead acting award for The Beast in Me.
