Michael 'Venom' Page's final fight on his UFC contract ended in an underwhelming unanimous decision win over Nursulton Ruziboev amid boos from the Paris crowd. The 39-year-old Londoner, nicknamed 'MVP', landed only 12 significant strikes to Ruziboev's eight and failed to deliver the knockout fans expected. All five of Page's UFC wins since joining in 2024 have come via decision, despite his reputation for highlight-reel knockouts. Page admitted pre-fight he had underperformed and called the bout important to re-establish himself, but explosive moments were few as Ruziboev controlled early grappling. Page's arm was raised to jeers, and he now enters free agency with potential options including the PFL or boxing.

Fellow Briton Kurtis Campbell returned to winning ways, submitting American Trevor Peek via rear-naked choke in the third round. The 24-year-old Liverpudlian improved to 9-1 professionally after losing his UFC debut in March. Earlier, London's Nathaniel Wood saw his four-fight win streak snapped by unanimous decision against Moldova's Pavel Andrusca, a late replacement who extended his unbeaten record to 9-0.

Separately, the UFC announced Brazil's Natalia Silva will fight China's Wang Cong for the vacant flyweight title at UFC 322 on 3 October in Salt Lake City. Former champion Valentina Shevchenko vacated the belt and is expected to miss over a year with injury.
