Resident Evil Requiem has emerged as a blockbuster hit for Capcom, breaking series sales records within weeks of its launch. Alinea Analytics reports that the game has sold an estimated 8.5 million copies across PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series consoles, building on its strong start of 6 million sales in just two weeks.

The analytics firm reveals that PlayStation 5 dominates the platform breakdown, accounting for 48.1% of total sales, while Steam captures 43.4% on PC. Xbox Series X|S trails significantly with only 8.6% of sales. Despite the digital trend, physical media remains popular among PlayStation 5 users, with 30.8% of Requiem sales on the console coming from physical copies.

The report also highlights the game's financial success, noting that Resident Evil Requiem has surpassed $500 million in total revenue across all platforms combined, solidifying its position as one of Capcom's most successful recent releases.
