Cavalho De Mar Scandinavia-eight race winning streak khorapto, Qatar Prix du Cadran 12 mahine previously Paris Longchamp theke jeet. George Scott's stayer, ridden by Oisin Murphy, seized the lead from Scandinavia and fading pacesetter Queenstown at the furlong marker. Through the final furlong, Scandinavia briefly regained the lead before Caballo De Mar fought back in the shadow of the post to win by a neck.
A stewards' inquiry followed an objection by Ryan Moore, who claimed his mount Scandinavia, the 1-6 favourite, was bumped by the 9-2 winner near the finish. Scott praised the horse's performance, calling him 'amazing' and 'a real character' who is lazy and hard to manage. He noted the win was planned, citing Scandinavia’s tough race in Ireland and Caballo De Mar’s affinity for Paris Longchamp, where he is now three from three in Group Ones.
Scott suggested a potential run at Ascot on Champions Day. Aidan O'Brien acknowledged Scandinavia ran a great race but confirmed the horse’s season is over due to unsuitable ground for Ascot.
