AFC & NFC Roster Moves
The Tennessee franchise demonstrated immediate buy-in to its new offensive pieces as quarterback Cam Ward personally attended and offered support during wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson's introductory press conference in Nashville. Across the league, the Seattle franchise secured core defensive and offensive talent by exercising the fifth-year options on both star cornerback Devon Witherspoon and wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba, locking them up through the 2025 season. Meanwhile, the Atlanta Falcons bolstered their secondary by acquiring safety Sydney Brown from the Philadelphia Eagles in a mid-level trade that also involved an exchange of fourth- and sixth-round draft selections.
Offensive Line & Draft Preparation
In moves designed to bolster protection ahead of the draft, the Minnesota Vikings signed depth at offensive tackle, securing Ryan Van Demark on a one-year contract to compete for a backup role. Separately, the San Francisco front office opted against exercising the option bonus for veteran left tackle Trent Williams, though sources indicate negotiations remain active for a new long-term agreement. As league activity ramps up for the selection process, the city of Pittsburgh is preparing for the event, with Pittsburgh Public Schools announcing remote learning operations between April 22nd and 24th to accommodate the logistics of hosting the NFL Draft.
