Poco today unveiled the Poco M8x as the newest member of its M8 series. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 SoC, making it India's first smartphone with that chip. It offers up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage, expandable via microSD.

The Poco M8x features a 6.9" HD+ 120Hz LCD protected by Gorilla Glass 7i, with a centered punch-hole for an 8MP selfie camera. Rear cameras include a 50MP primary sensor and an auxiliary unit. A massive 7,900 mAh battery supports 45W wired and 22.5W reverse wired charging.

Running Android 16-based Hyper OS 3, Poco promises four Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates. Other highlights: side-mounted fingerprint scanner, IP64 rating, dual stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Colors: Leather Green (vegan leather), Black, Blue.

Two memory configurations: 4GB/128GB at INR20,999 and 6GB/128GB at INR22,999. Sales begin August 27 via Flipkart in India.
