Released on August 6, it offers expanded rosters, kick returns, team editors, and Exhibition Mode from launch. The game retains chunky pixel art and simple gesture-based controls for offense, while defense is simulated.

Players manage team morale, budgets, facilities, and athlete GPAs. A new League Style option allows customization of conferences and seeding to match past years, with 2026 league data included. This version skips the $0.99 Unlimited Version and Coaching Credit packs found in the free App Store release.

Madden NFL 27 Arcade Edition and NFL Retro Bowl '27 are also coming to Apple Arcade. The Retro Bowl series began in January 2020, inspired by 1980s Tecmo football games, with Simon Read of New Star Games citing retro aesthetics as core to the franchise. College+ continues the blend of accessible gameplay and deep management, now available across Apple Arcade’s growing football lineup.
