Apple is shifting focus to an October event after concluding the iPhone launch cycle. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman outlines expectations for new product releases expected later this year. Touchscreen MacBook Pro models in 14- and 16-inch versions are highly anticipated, alongside an updated 14-inch MacBook Pro featuring the M6 chip.

A new iMac will debut with refreshed colors and an M6 processor. The HomePod mini 2 with Siri AI integration and the Apple TV 4K with enhanced Siri capabilities are also on the lineup. Notably, the iPad mini will receive an OLED screen upgrade.

However, the highly anticipated HomePad smart home hub remains uncertain, with Gurman noting the timeline is still fluid. Looking ahead to 2027, the iPhone Air 2 is slated for a first-half launch, featuring an ultrawide camera and improved battery life. The iPad Air will finally adopt an OLED display and a more powerful chip.

The rumor mill also predicts iterative updates including the iPhone 18 series, MacBook Air models with M6 chips, and various iPad Pro enhancements. Later in 2027, excitement builds around smart glasses, AirPods with built-in cameras, a home security system, a redesigned Apple Watch, and a 20th-anniversary iPhone line.
