Apni qualifying score 14.400 por 10th place par. 27-year-old, two-time world champion and three-time European gold medalist, finished sixth at the Commonwealth Games in July—his first major competition since his injury. He followed that with a seventh-place finish at the Europeans in Zagreb in August. Despite his storied career, McClenaghan has struggled to regain top form since his recovery.
Result is a blow to Northern Ireland’s gymnastics hopes on the world stage. McClenaghan remains a dominant figure in the sport, but his recent performances suggest he is still working his way back to peak condition. Fans and analysts will be watching closely to see if he can rebound in future competitions.
