نجم كأس العالم Vozinha بدأ مع Colo Colo في مباراة كأس Chile ضد Unión Española يوم الأربعاء. حارس مرمى من Cabo Verde يبلغ من العمر 40 عامًا، واسمه الحقيقي Josimar Évora Dias، وصل إلى تشيلي في 2 أغسطس بعد توقيعه مع Colo Colo في 24 يوليو. كان وصوله قد تأخر ثلاث مرات بسبب الأوراق الشخصية والمشاكل. Upon landing, he joined training immediately and has been part of the squad for three matches, including the Superclásico against Universidad de Chile, though he remained on the bench for that game. Vozinha faces competition for the starting role, with injured Fernando De Paul sidelined and 19-year-old academy product Gabriel Maureira established as the starter after a standout Superclásico performance.

Coach Fernando Ortiz emphasized that Vozinha must earn the starting spot on merit, stating a big name won’t change his selection approach. Vozinha gained fame during Cape Verde’s World Cup debut, where he made key saves against Uruguay, Spain, and Argentina. His social media following surged from under 50,000 to over 29 million following the tournament.

He previously played for Chaves in Portugal’s second division before joining Colo Colo.
