NFL Roster Moves & Strategy
In the tight end market, Dallas Goedert secured a fresh one-year contract to remain with the Philadelphia Eagles for his ninth professional season, according to sources speaking to Adam Schefter. Simultaneously, defensive backfield activity saw Nick Scott re-sign with the Carolina Panthers on a one-year pact after he logged a career-high 111 tackles during the previous campaign. Meanwhile, offensive planning for the Pittsburgh Steelers appears to be shifting toward a ground-oriented attack, as evidenced by their recent acquisitions of wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. and running back Rico Dowdle, signaling expectations for a "physical, run-first offense" in 2026.
