For those switching, six alternatives tested extensively include the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, Redmagic 11S Pro, POCO F8 Ultra, iPhone 17 Pro, OPPO Find X9 Pro, and Vivo X300 Pro (unavailable in U.S.).

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra matches Pixel in cameras and battery, with seven-year updates and strong ecosystem. The Redmagic 11S Pro at $899 delivers top performance, 7,500mAh battery, and liquid cooling but only two OS updates. The POCO F8 Ultra (via resellers for $889) features 50MP cameras, denim finish, 6,500mAh battery with 100W charging, and Bose-tuned audio.

The iPhone 17 Pro offers stability and ecosystem but requires rebuilding app purchases. The OPPO Find X9 Pro at £1,099 ($1,500) surpasses Pixel in cameras, MediaTek Dimensity 9500 speed, battery, and ColorOS 16, plus includes Watch X3. The Vivo X300 Pro is similarly excellent but region-limited.
