Meta announced a series of AI-powered devices at its Meta Connect 2026 event, including the Ray-Ban Meta Audio—its first camera-free smart glasses starting at $349, available October 13. These glasses offer music playback, calls, live translation, and Muse AI support. The company also revealed the Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3) with a slimmer design, 9-hour battery life, and customizable action button, priced at $449.

Meta also introduced the Meta VR Glasses, a 100-gram VR headset with 5K micro-OLED display, built-in Meta AI, eye and hand tracking, and an IMAX Enhanced certification for 3D movies and live sports. It features a photorealistic hologram avatar for video calls, launching in spring 2027 at $1,299.99.

Additionally, Meta expanded its smart glasses lineup with the Capri, Nova, and the $249 Adventurer model. The Muse Charm, a palm-sized 'holdable' with a 2-inch OLED touchscreen, customizable AI character, and full camera array, was also unveiled. Developed by Meta’s design lab led by Alan Dye, the device supports 5G and direct Muse interaction.
