The final round of County Championship fixtures begins Thursday with three teams still in title contention. Warwickshire lead by 11 points and can seal the Division One title with a home win over Leicestershire. Somerset, 11 points back, must beat Surrey and hope Warwickshire slip up. Nottinghamshire, 15 points adrift, need a win over Yorkshire plus other results to go their way.

At the bottom, Hampshire are already relegated. Leicestershire, 19 points behind Essex, must beat Warwickshire and hope Essex lose at Glamorgan to survive.

In Division Two, Durham, aided by Ben Stokes, are champions. Kent lead Northamptonshire by four points for the second promotion spot. Kent host Gloucestershire, while Northamptonshire visit Middlesex at Lord's. Kent hold the tiebreaker with two more wins, so Northamptonshire must outscore them by five points.
