Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed was carted off the field after being placed on a stabilizing backboard with a neck injury following the second play from scrimmage in Sunday's game against the New York Jets at Met Life Stadium. On the very next play, Packers right tackle Zach Bako-Bewele sustained a right knee injury and also was carted off the field. Both players were quickly ruled out for the game by the Packers, who defeated the Jets 20-17 in overtime.

Members of the medical staff from both teams attended to Reed for several minutes on the field before he was placed on a board and had his helmet strapped down for stabilization. Reed took what appeared to be a hit in the head and neck area at the end of a 4-yard gain on a swing pass in the left flat. Jets linebacker Demario Davis was the initial defender to hit Reed, and Kingsley Enagbare also may have made contact with Reed after that.

Players from both teams took a knee while Reed was down.
