No. 21 Oregon routed Portland State 84-0 Friday night, setting a single-game home scoring record, but did so without top wide receiver Jeremiah Mc Clellan and starting tight end Jamari Johnson due to injuries. Mc Clellan warmed up in pads but appeared on the sidelines in a boot on his left foot and on crutches after kickoff. Coach Dan Lanning said Mc Clellan "got tweaked in pregame" and requires evaluation. Mc Clellan had six catches for 150 yards and a touchdown in the opener against Boise State but managed just one catch for 20 yards in the loss to Oklahoma State. Johnson, a senior from Inglewood, California, scored against the Broncos but missed the Oklahoma State game and sat out again Friday despite participating in pregame warmups without pads.

The injuries compound existing issues for the Ducks. Earlier this week, Lanning announced offensive lineman Trent Ferguson is out for the season with a knee injury. Oregon (2-1) dominated the winless Vikings (0-4), but faces a critical test next week at USC in Los Angeles with Big Ten and College Football Playoff implications. "We have a better team," Lanning said. "No disrespect for Portland State, but that's the way it should look when we execute the way we should execute."
