NBA Play-In Drama
The Eastern Conference play-in tournament concluded with the Hornets narrowly advancing past the Miami Heat in a frantic overtime contest where Bam Adebayo was ruled out before tip-off. LaMelo Ball delivered the go-ahead basket with 4.7 seconds remaining, and Miles Bridges provided the defensive insurance, blocking the final shot at the buzzer to secure the victory and end Miami's season.
Off-Court Developments
In unrelated news, hip-hop artist J. Cole officially concluded his professional playing stint with a Chinese pro hoops team, confirming his departure after appearing in just a single game for the organization this week.
