Cubs Injury Watch

The Chicago Cubs are hopeful shortstop Dansby Swanson can return from his oblique injury as soon as next week, manager Craig Counsell said before Friday's game against Pittsburgh. Pirates Roster Moves

Pittsburgh activated infielder/outfielder Ryan O'Hearn from the 10-day injured list ahead of Friday's matchup with the Cubs at Wrigley Field. The move adds a veteran bat to the Pirates' lineup as they open the series.
