KPS Capital Partners has agreed to sell its portfolio company Metra to Grupa Kéty, a Warsaw-listed Polish industrial group, for 645 million euros. Metra is a vertically integrated manufacturer of extruded aluminum profiles and related services, including painting, oxidation, machining, welding and assembly. The company's profiles are used primarily in rail, industrial and building and construction end markets across Europe and North America.

Metra is headquartered in Rodengo Saiano, Italy, operates nine manufacturing facilities and employs about 1,400 people. KPS acquired Metra in July 2021 and completed five add-on acquisitions during its ownership. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2027, subject to customary closing conditions and approvals.

Pierre de Villeméjane, partner and co-head of KPS Mid-Cap Investments, stated that the success of the investment exemplifies KPS' strategy of seeing value where others do not. Editor's note: This news brief was produced with the assistance of artificial intelligence.
