Mark Zuckerberg used his 'one more thing' moment at Meta's annual Connect event to unveil the Muse Charm, a handheld AI companion about the size of an Apple Watch. This puck features a tamagotchi-like interactive avatar powered by the company's Muse AI, enabling real-time voice chat without needing to unlock a phone or open an app. Users simply tap the fingerprint sensor to activate the device.

Meta aims to have the Muse Charm on sale by the holiday season. Beyond the handheld device, Connect showcased new Meta VR Glasses, which feature a tethered puck for storage and battery, making the headset five times lighter than the Quest 3 at just 100 grams. The headset offers full-color passthrough video, a 5K display, and supports every Quest game plus Xbox Cloud Gaming.

Priced at $1,300, it launches in the spring. Meta also refreshed its Ray-Ban smart glasses line, introducing an audio-only model with up to 12 hours of battery life and a third-generation model with improved noise cancellation and 3K video capture, starting at $349 and shipping October 13.
