Samsung is developing Android 17-based One UI 9 for multiple Galaxy devices, despite only releasing the beta for the Galaxy S26 series so far. The company has not announced when it will expand the beta program, but evidence suggests the Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A56 could receive the One UI 9 beta before the stable update. Firmware builds A356NKSUAZZH5 for the Galaxy A35 and A566SKSU9ZZHH for the Galaxy A56 were spotted on Samsung's test servers in Korea.

Additionally, Samsung has created a One UI 9 beta forum for the Galaxy A56 on Samsung Community in India. Currently, only the Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Flip8, and Galaxy S26 FE run stable One UI 9, as they launched with it. The Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra have received seven One UI 9 beta updates and may get the stable version soon, after which Samsung could open the beta to the Galaxy S25 series and other eligible devices.
