MediaTek has officially announced the launch date for its next flagship SoC, the Dimensity 9600 Pro, via a post on X. The unveiling is scheduled for September 15 at 2:30 PM in China (2:30 AM in New York, 7:30 AM in London, 8:30 AM in Central Europe, 9:30 AM in Eastern Europe, and 12 PM in India).

The company describes the new product as a "pro chip" delivering a "pro experience" with "pro efficiency" and "pro imaging," including support for 4k240fps slow-motion video capture. Gaming capabilities are also highlighted, featuring "AI-enhanced graphics," an upgraded Hyper Engine, and "immersive ray tracing."

Previous rumors regarding the Dimensity 9600 Pro branding appear confirmed. It remains unclear if MediaTek will also introduce a Pro Max variant or a standard non-Pro Dimensity 9600, though answers are imminent with the launch just weeks away.
