Logitech is updating a classic with the Yeti 2, a reimagined sequel to the original Blue Yeti USB microphone launched in 2009. Despite its age, the OG Yeti remains popular among podcasters and streamers. The Yeti 2 adds a 3D proximity sensor, AI-powered noise reduction, and a 1.3-inch LED display featuring a Yeti mascot for visual feedback on gain and directional patterns.

The sensor automatically adjusts gain, EQ, and pickup patterns as users move, with tracking enabled out of the box. The onboard AI denoiser reduces background sounds like mouse clicks and keystrokes. The mic includes a redesigned three-capsule array, 24-bit/48kHz recording, multiple directional modes, a headphone jack, capacitive mute button, physical control dial, and five stored presets.

Custom avatars are available via Logitech's G Hub software. The Yeti 2 is now available in black and white for $160 from Logitech's website and retail partners.
