DJI's Osmo Pocket 4 is a fantastic gimbal camera, but it's not officially available in the United States due to a ban on certain DJI products. Luckily, there are other options.

DJI's main rival, Insta360, has the excellent Luna Pro, which offers similar features and video quality. DJI's original Osmo Pocket 3 is still available and a fantastic camera. There are also choices from Agfa, Ordro, and SJCam.

DJI basically invented the gimbal cam category with its Osmo Pocket series. The Pocket 3, released in 2023, offered motorized subject tracking, gimbal stabilization, and automatic video orientation via a screen flip at a starting price of $520.

Insta360's Luna Pro is nearly on par with the Pocket 4, featuring a 1-inch sensor with a 20mm f/1.8 Leica lens. It offers 8K at 30 fps and supports 10-bit log capture. Battery life is excellent on both, rated at up to four hours. The Luna Pro also offers internal storage, but less than half that of its rival at 47GB.
