Apple's foldable ambitions now have a name and a number. iPhone Duo is expected to capture 24.8% of the foldable smartphone market in 2026 alone, per a new Trend Force report, countering a 20% slump in the segment. The long-rumored device finally arrived this week, and as one retrospective notes, months of "iPhone Ultra" speculation ended with the Duo branding instead. The launch has already reshaped buying decisions: for many people, the foldable immediately replaced the idea of an iPad mini. Accessory makers face an adjustment too — the Duo supports Mag Safe but won't work with every existing magnetic add-on. It won't ship until October, part of a wave of 7+ new products arriving next month.

Wearables: Watch Series 12 & Ultra 4

Apple's newest wearables bring a mix of gains and gotchas.
