Our videographer got hands-on time with the iPhone Duo and iPhone 18 Pro Max at Apple Park. The iPhone Duo, when closed, is 4.64 inches high, 3.31 inches wide, and 0.44 inches deep. Open, it measures 4.64 inches tall and 6.48 inches wide, with a thickness of just 0.21 inches.

For reference, the iPhone 18 Pro is 5.91 x 2.83 x 0.34 inches, and the iPhone 18 Pro Max is 6.43 x 3.07 x 0.34 inches. The Duo weighs 8.96 ounces, compared to 7.44 ounces for the Pro and 8.78 ounces for the Pro Max. The Duo's outer display is nearly as large as the iPhone 18 Pro's screen, and it offers more display area when opened.

It's also the thinnest iPhone yet, being only a tenth of an inch thicker than the iPhone 18 Pro when closed. Pre-orders for the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max start September 12, while the iPhone Duo follows on October 16. Our team is still debating the Duo's merits, with more discussion planned for tomorrow.
