Apple has released new firmware for AirPods Pro 3 and select other AirPods models, adding support for the latest iOS 27 features. The new AirPods firmware arrives alongside iOS 27, which launched today on iPhone.

The latest AirPods firmware is build 9A348. It's available for select models, including: AirPods Pro 3, AirPods Pro 2, AirPods Max 2, AirPods 4. AirPods 5 will support the new firmware too when they ship later this week.

Apple's new firmware adds compatibility and support for the latest AirPods features in iOS 27. New features include: Custom EQ, Siri AI with compatible iPhone, Precision Finding via Apple Watch, GymKit support, and redesigned AirPods settings. About half the new features are exclusive to AirPods Pro 3, while the rest are more broadly available.
