New Apple products are reportedly launching October 13, including the rumored ‘Home Pad’ device. But according to Mark Gurman at Bloomberg, there’s one rumored product not coming next month: a new full-size Home Pod with Siri AI.

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reported that Apple plans to announce three new Home products very soon: a smart home hub (commonly called ‘Home Pad’), new Apple TV 4K, and Home Pod mini 2. Tuesday, October 13 is the expected launch date for each product.

But Gurman writes: “Apple aims to eventually update its larger Home Pod speaker as well.” That’s the only mention he makes of the larger Home Pod product, which hasn’t been updated since 2023. Earlier this year, Gurman reported that a new full-sized Home Pod was in the works alongside the updated Home Pod mini and Apple TV 4K.

Despite Siri AI officially launching, fans of the large Home Pod will have to wait longer for a Siri AI-compatible hardware update. In just a couple of weeks, the full-size Home Pod will be the only Home product left that’s limited to the old Siri.
