Elon Musk’s super PAC, America PAC, has begun spending over $100 million to influence competitive midterm House and Senate races. The tech billionaire aims to support Republican candidates, marking a return to political spending after previously criticizing the party. This investment follows his significant role in the 2024 election where his group canvassed millions of doors for Donald Trump.

The initial spending disclosure reveals $800,000 allocated across 15 races. Funds are directed toward key battlegrounds, including seven marquee Senate races in Texas, Maine, Ohio, New Hampshire, Iowa, Michigan, and Alaska, as well as eight battleground House districts. The expenditures are primarily for printing direct mail pieces to be sent to voters.

America PAC is executing a ground game strategy similar to its 2024 operations, which partnered closely with the Trump campaign. That year, the group knocked on nearly 11 million doors with thousands of canvassers to turn out low-propensity voters. Musk’s political action committee continues to focus on voter registration and turnout efforts, including digital advertising campaigns targeting specific demographics and races.
