Pierre Morel, former co-head of global investment-grade and macro credit trading at JPMorgan Chase & Co, has joined London hedge fund Redhedge Asset Management as lead portfolio manager. According to CEO Andrea Seminara, Morel started Wednesday in London and will report directly to her. His role involves expanding the business and hiring for front-office positions.

Morel spent years at JPMorgan before making the move to the hedge fund sector. The appointment signals Redhedge's growth strategy under Seminara's leadership.
