Merlin Entertainments Ltd, the leisure park operator behind Legoland, Madame Tussauds and Sea Life, has secured £657 million ($890 million) in new funding to refinance its bonds. The loan was announced in a statement to creditors on Thursday, according to Bloomberg News. The company is owned by a consortium of investors including Blackstone Inc, the Canadian Pension Plan Investment Board and Kirkbi A/S — the investment arm of the family behind Lego.

The new debt will help Merlin meet its looming debt deadlines and manage its financial obligations across its global portfolio of theme parks and attractions.
