Apollo Global Management Inc.'s Singapore-based partner and key member of the company's hybrid strategy in Asia, Gaurav Pant, is departing the firm after 18 years. Pant, who joined Apollo in 2008, will leave at the end of the year. Pant was one of the first employees in Apollo's private credit team in Singapore and an early member of the Hybrid Value team launched globally in 2018.

He led hybrid investments in Global Schools Group and Charles Monat Associates, where he also sits as a board member. He was also involved in the acquisition by Tega Industries, in partnership with Apollo, of Molycop, a supplier of consumable materials to the mining industry. Prior to Apollo, Pant worked in investment banking at Merrill Lynch in Singapore and Mumbai.

Apollo declined to comment on the departure.
