Ace Designers Ltd., a Bengaluru-based manufacturer of industrial machinery, is reportedly considering an initial public offering in Mumbai that could raise up to $400 million. The company has begun discussions with investment banks and is expected to appoint advisers soon. Founded in 1979 as a design consulting firm, Ace Designers has grown into a producer of CNC turning and machining centers. The potential offering would add to a surge in Indian IPO activity, following a busy September where sixty-one listings raised about $4.1 billion.

Kotak Alternate Asset Managers Ltd. invested 12 billion rupees in Ace Designers last year to fund a new manufacturing facility and expand the company's product portfolio and international presence. For the fiscal year ended March 2026, the company reported annual revenue of more than 28 billion rupees according to its website. Deliberations are at an early stage, and details including the size, structure, and timing of the IPO could still change. A representative for Ace Designers did not respond to requests for comment.
