Edmond de Rothschild has hired Zineb Bennani to lead its private markets strategy, a newly created role. Bennani joins from Mirova, where she was CEO of its US business, bringing over 20 years of asset-management experience. The appointment reflects a broader industry trend as traditional asset managers expand into private equity, private credit, and real assets to capture higher fee margins and long-duration capital.

Bennani’s mandate covers three pillars: private equity and real estate, which are established franchises, and infrastructure debt, a fast-growing area driven by energy transition and digital infrastructure financing. Her task is to sharpen and expand the strategy across these areas as the firm competes for institutional and wealth capital flowing into private markets.
