Everton have agreed a season-long loan deal for Jack Grealish from Manchester City. The 30-year-old England midfielder is set to undergo a medical at Goodison Park before Tuesday's 23:00 BST deadline. Grealish previously spent part of last season at Everton, contributing two goals and six assists in 20 appearances before a foot injury ended his campaign.

His return was preferred over other suitors, with chief executive Angus Kinnear confirming ongoing contact. Meanwhile, Everton are active in the final hours of the window, closing in on a £40m move for Monaco forward Folarin Balogun. Talks over a permanent return for Brazil striker Richarlison from Tottenham have stalled.

Defender Nathan Patterson is also attracting Serie A interest from Torino. Everton face Manchester United at Goodison Park on Sunday.
