Leeds United managing director Robbie Evans says the club and boss Daniel Farke are "on the same page" as they look to agree a new contract. Farke guided Leeds to a 14th-placed finish in the Premier League and an FA Cup semi-final last season after winning promotion in 2024-25. Evans praised Farke's "fantastic job" and confirmed that contract discussions have been progressing well over the past three months, with both parties aligned on the deal's terms.

Evans emphasized that the reduced time pressure compared to a deadline-day signing allows them to get the contract right, ensuring it meets both Farke's and the club's long-term needs. "We're still operating together as a group, and we're doing great on that front," he added.

Regarding summer signings, Evans highlighted the success of the transfer window, securing key targets like England goalkeeper James Trafford from Manchester City in a deal worth up to £45m, plus defenders Tarik Muharemovic, Nico Elvedi, and Harry Wilson. The club sold Pascal Struijk to Brighton for a reported £20m to comply with financial regulations, a move Evans called "thankful" as only one player needed to be offloaded.
