There is this interesting dichotomy between leverage of the businesses owners and the business workers today. From DHH's perspective, AI making meaningful improvements, smaller teams, more productivity, is always going to be desirable. He is heavily indexing on AI and has the skill, taste and money to roll it out effectively. More production, more sales, done cheaper? If you have the privilege of paying someone's wage, this is the leverage you want.

For the workers, they're using the very tool that removes all the leverage they once enjoyed. Certainly not everyone will lose their jobs, but you can bet your ass there will be a whole lot less of them required to do it. Like DHH says.. All you need is English. It's a great time to be fantastically rich and successful or incredibly lucky!
