Charlie McAvoyscored 39 seconds into overtime Tuesday night, lifting the Boston Bruins to a 2-1 victory over the Los Angeles Kings and extending their home winning streak to 13 games. The defenseman’s decisive goal capped a night where he also lost teeth during the physical contest, requiring immediate dental work post-game. This win keeps Boston atop the Atlantic Division and fuels playoff hopes, though the team’s medical staff now faces a rush to repair McAvoy’s dental damage before his next shift.
