Knicks' Playoff Push

The New York Knicks face critical challenges as they maintain third place in the Eastern Conference with a 42-25 record, with analysts identifying five key issues that must be addressed before the playoffs. Their star duo of Karl-Anthony Towns and Jalen Brunson has shown inconsistency in recent weeks, with Towns' defensive rotations and Brunson's shot selection both coming under scrutiny. The team's bench production has dropped to 23rd in the league, and their half-court offense ranks in the bottom 10 for points per possession. With the trade deadline approaching, the Knicks' front office is evaluating whether to pursue a defensive specialist or a scoring wing to bolster their rotation.
