Elvaston has acquired a stake in DataConsult, a Kraków, Poland-based specialist in warehouse management systems, marking the investment firm's first transaction in Poland and entry into Eastern Europe's software and logistics markets. DataConsult will serve as Elvaston's platform for further regional growth.

DataConsult has spent more than 20 years developing and implementing warehouse management solutions. Its ExpertWMS suite serves mid-sized and large enterprises across production, trade and service industries, offering systems for complex, multi-level warehouse processes, fast-deployment WMS, and cloud-based applications. The company also provides logistics consulting, warehouse automation and infrastructure services.

DataConsult's market position in Poland and its management team's expertise in warehouse logistics were key factors behind the investment, according to Elvaston.
