The iPhone 18 Pro Max has the largest battery ever in an iPhone, offering up to 45 hours of video playback. The iPhone 18 Pro lasts up to 36 hours. Compared to the iPhone 17 Pro (33 hours) and 17 Pro Max (39 hours), the new models gain 3 and 6 hours respectively.

Apple's "typical use" metric includes messages, photo captures, music, social apps, streaming, games, and navigation. Both Pro models support faster charging: up to 50% in 15 minutes with a 60W or higher adapter, and up to 25W MagSafe and Qi2.2 charging.

Preorders begin Saturday, September 12 at 5:00 a.m. Pacific Time.
